If you are a flatmate, you can give the tenant(s) notice that you are leaving at any time. There is no minimum notice period. Tenants can ask flatmates to find a replacement flatmate when they leave, but unless there is a written agreement signed by the flatmate about this, the tenant is unlikely to be able to enforce this rule.
