A landlord can’t discriminate against you based upon your partnership status or sexuality. However, the first thing to do when renting as a couple is to check how many tenants your landlord allows for, and whether they allow for couples to rent.
It’s also a good idea to talk with your partner and other tenants about how much rent  is to be paid for the shared room compared to other rooms in the flat.
